Producer Identification:
We identify new producers based on their product range, financial status, infrastructure, manpower, and efficiency of management. We continuously update our information on new manufacturers and new products. Information pertaining to new varieties of value additions, machinery, R&D department, quality control department and new technology area and availability of raw materials are also updated.
Selection of Producers:
We assess the factories in terms of product range, quality of the product made, production capacity, facilities, financial capability, technology orientation, manpower, working conditions, managerial efficiency and their overall quality policy. Once our initial assessment is over we exchange information with our principals and make a combined decision in approving an identified producer.
Sampling:
Samples are developed to suit the specification, color, and other terms if applicable to our buyer’s requirements. Our sample is available free of cost but the Buyer is supposed to pay the shipment charge. Therefore for providing the sample we request our valued Buyers to ask any International Courier / Express service to pick up the sample from our office after confirmation of production of the sample.
Order execution and Quality Control: (Quality Management)
Orders are closely monitored from sampling to shipment. Status on sampling, production, and shipment are transmitted to buyers regularly. We maintain a pro-active approach towards the identification of problem areas and corrective measures are taken immediately to ensure timely deliveries. Our quality monitoring system pertaining to production has four stages as explained below:
Pre Production Check
Risks are reduced by checking raw materials / material components, accessories/user manuals, etc. at this stage itself.
Initial Production Check
First, finished products are checked against the buyer’s specification and prototype sample. Deviations are identified and brought out for correction.
During Production Check
Inspection during production is carried out to check and verify that the initial discrepancies have been rectified and to ensure the average quality standard of production runs.
Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI) / Final Random Inspection (FRI)
Pre-shipment inspection / Final random inspection is carried out when the total consignment is packed and ready for shipment. PSI / FRI is performed according to the International Inspection Standards and by any Internationally reputed survey organizations.
The detailed physical inspection of the samples selected at random is based on specifications of the buyers and it covers the criteria such as quality ratio, breaking strength, TPI (Twist Per Inch), avg. count, C.V., moisture content, color, batch, slubs/hairiness, roots/specks, knots, spools sizes, Dia, oil content, weight, measurement, workmanship, packing, etc.
Status Reporting
Status report based on the multi-state inspections is transmitted to the buyers by Fax or Email. Production progress is analyzed in relation to the delivery terms and a suitable course of action is taken to ensure goods are delivered in time. The consignment is allowed for shipment if only it is up to the buyer’s required standard.
Container Stuffing and Loading Supervision
An identification of the goods during the loading is made to ensure that only the inspected goods are being stuffed without getting mixed up with the un-inspected goods. We also offer loading and tally supervision through any Internationally reputed third party organization. Certificate of which is also offered to our Valued Buyers.
Documentation and Shipping Co-ordination
Shipping documents are checked as per the buyer’s instruction and the copy documents are sent to the buyers well in advance of the shipment to avoid any discrepancy.
Laboratory Testing
Laboratories are an extremely valuable component of our services and also facilitate the manufacturer – exporters to transact their business with the least quality risk. Laboratory services include:
Raw Jute: The quality control team tries to test the raw jute to confirm that actual quality is being used to produce the approved quality of the Jute product.
Color: Color is being tested to suit approved samples.
Product: Breaking strength, quality ratio, C.V., Knots, etc are being inspected to match with the approved sample.
